Research Focus
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pawinee Suksuntornsiri works at the intersection of energy economics and thermal/refrigeration engineering. Her research has examined the macroeconomic and environmental impacts of national energy policy — including embedded energy and greenhouse-gas emissions across Thailand’s economy, feed-in-tariff policy effects on electricity prices, and clean electricity-generation technology assessment for CO2 mitigation — alongside applied work on the energy performance of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, such as filter effects on room air-conditioner performance and waste-heat recovery from cooling systems. This mirrors her listed expertise, which spans energy-policy impact assessment, refrigeration/air-conditioning system performance, and energy conservation in thermal systems.
