Research Focus
His research centers on concrete durability in Thailand’s marine and industrial contexts, with a throughline of turning industrial by-products — fly ash, blast-furnace slag, calcined kaolinite clay, limestone powder — into durable, corrosion-resistant construction material. He has developed models for predicting the time-dependent chloride binding capacity of cement systems, studied blended-cement mixtures for resistance to steel corrosion, and worked within Burapha’s concrete-durability research group on structural material investigation, inspection, and long-term maintenance of concrete infrastructure exposed to Thailand’s marine environment.
