His work is in bioengineering and biotechnology, with a particular focus on prebiotics – isolating levansucrase-producing bacteria (Bacillus siamensis) from traditional Thai fermented foods and characterizing the Levan prebiotic they produce, alongside broader work in biochemical engineering and environmental biology.
